After completing a Bachelor's degree in nutritional sciences, a Master's degree in environmental education, and an ND in naturopathic medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, she supported women in a clinical setting for decades before bringing her knowledge and passion to women at-large through co-founding hey freya.

  • Dr. Marisa Marciano

    Dr. Marisa Marciano is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor & Registered Herbalist (AHG) with expertise in both the education and clinical applications of therapeutic phytotherapy. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from The University of Western Ontario she received her post-degree medical training from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine - Boucher Campus in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where she is currently Chair of the Botanical Medicine Department.
