Our anti-racist statement is as follows:
hey freya is an anti-racist organization. hey freya defines being an anti-racist organization as creating an environment where all employees regardless of race or the color of their skin know that they are valued, safe, and equal with equal opportunity and recognition. We acknowledge that racism can be unconscious or unintentional and identifying and defeating racism requires deliberate and ongoing work from each individual and the organization as a whole. As an anti-racist organization, we will purposefully identify, discuss, and challenge issues of race and color and the impacts that they have on the organization, its systems, and its people. We will also challenge ourselves to understand and correct any inequities we discover within hey freya and gain a better understanding of ourselves during this purposeful process. Being an anti-racist organization is a journey and it is our moral imperative to do this daily and ongoing work.
Our goal is also to create and maintain an environment where team members feel safe to discuss race and the importance it has on our organization and our lives outside of work. hey freya will continue to purposefully discuss and deepen our understanding of race and racism.

This work can be uncomfortable and even painful to some, but we have found that the greatest challenges bear the greatest rewards. Our pro-LGBTQIA+ statement is as follows:
hey freya is a pro-LGBTQIA+ organization. As an LGBT-inclusive workplace, all team members are treated fairly and have equal access to career opportunities, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or gender expression. Diverse employee representation has a positive effect on our business results because it allows team members to capitalize on their full identities and leverage their full talents. Therefore, as an LGBT-inclusive workplace, we recognize, work to understand and tackle the unique challenges that LGBT team members face during recruitment, in daily workplace interactions, and in advancing to senior leadership positions. We also recognize cultural differences within an organization by role and challenge workplace norms in each of these cultures.
As a part of our commitment to creating and sustaining a pro-LGBTQIA+ team member has the right to be addressed by the name and pronoun that correspond to the team member’s gender identity. Team members who transition on the job can expect the support of the organization. Furthermore, our company does not have dress codes that restrict team members’ clothing or appearance on the basis of gender.
