ABOUT OUR MEASURE STRESS TEST
WHAT WE TEST
hey freya’s MEASURE STRESS TEST keeps it real. We could come up with dozens of tests that leave you wondering what to do with all the numbers, charts, and graphs. Instead, we prefer to save you time and money and focus on the key hormone that influences most stress related symptoms: Cortisol.
The 4-point cortisol test is the gold standard for measuring the adrenal response to chronic stress. The hormone, when tracked throughout the day, indicates how your body is uniquely responding to the chronic stress in your life. We combine your unique hormone test results with a personalized Lifestyle Assessment to get the most accurate indicators of your adrenal health.
Our commitment to you: we measure what matters and make sure you understand your results to take control of your life. Our expert health team is here to assist you every step of the way.
WHAT YOU GET
Your test results include a comprehensive report of what each number actually means. No more guessing or googling hormone levels for explanations. Our expert health team will provide you with a full report, including our personalized hey freya Score that offers suggestions and action items on how to take better care of yourself.
WHO SHOULD GET TESTED?
Symptoms of stress can vary from person to person. If you are struggling with any of the below symptoms, we encourage you to get tested to better understand where imbalances are most pervasive (and what to do about them!).
Stress symptoms can include:
- Exhaustion
- Foggy brain
- Mood changes and Irritability
- Difficulty concentrating
- Poor sleep
- Frequent infections or hay fever-type reactions
- Irritable bowels
- Headaches
- Anxiousness
- Sugar/Salt Cravings
- Hangry Outbursts
- Micromanaging
WHO SHOULD NOT GET TESTED?
Pregnant folks: When you are pregnant, cortisol levels adapt to protect you and your growing baby, which means the curve is not as predictable.
Anyone taking oral corticosteroids: Oral corticosteroids are the medication form of the exact biomarker we are testing; cortisol. If you are taking these orally and for your health condition, the results will not be representative of your body's natural stress response.
Anyone under 18: Kids & young adults have cortisol levels that vary greatly. Anyone under 18 who is struggling with stress symptoms should consult a physician.
